Hi friends,

I know today is a Tuesday, but I didn't want to wait for Sunday, which is when I will be sending this out every week.

Currently calling this the Weekly Write-Up! Not sure if that'll change or not. I got it all set up today. When I woke up this morning I knew nothing about having a newsletter, and now I know more than nothing, which feels good.

I just got off a 40-minute phone call with a GoDaddy representative and I must say, they're great. They helped me set up my newsletter email address, you can see that this email was sent by 'cam@cameronbrig.com' which is my new custom email. That is where you can reach me for a chat!

But enough about that, in the future of this newsletter I want to share what I've been up to during the week. Like this:

🤹🏻‍♂️Some of my favorite stuff:

•I read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone for the first time. It was better than I ever imagined it would be. Turns out you can buy the books themed after your own house (but first you should take the house test online) https://www.wizardingworld.com/news/discover-your-hogwarts-house-on-wizarding-world

•I discovered MUCK alongside roughly 3+ million people on the internet (a new game by the YouTuber Dani) and I've laughed and had a good time playing it. But it's seriously hard. I need to try multiplayer so that I don't keep dying on day 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPly1M-JEqc

🎊My first ever quote to share with you:

“How we spend our days is of course how we spend our lives”

-Annie Dillard in her book The Writing Life

I've been thinking a lot about this quote all week, I first heard it from Lorde on Hot Ones (First We Feast on YouTube). I think about all the time I spend doing things that aren't really important to me, and I want to cut down on that time and trade it out for something better.

This week's podcast:

And oh, how I would love to share this weeks videos! But I haven't actually started making those yet. There's something about being a professional videographer that makes me extra critical of videos I make of myself. I need to let go and make something for the fun of it.
